Skagen Road
If the ship is carrying the goods mentioned in the Danish Pilotage Act article 4 and is north of 57°39' it is obliged to use a pilot from the time where it passes a line 3 nautical miles from the Base Line and back again (See the Danish Pilotage Act section 4 and Executive Order on the use of pilots section 13). The line is only around ½ nautical mile from route B.
Læsø Rende
Læsø Rende is a part of the Danish Territorial Waters. Hence ships sailing through Læsø Rende are subject to the Danish Pilotage Act section 4.
Hesselø
Hesselø is a part of the Danish Territorial Waters. Hence ships sailing south of Hesselø are subject to the Danish Pilotage Act section 4. If ships want to avoid to take a pilot it will have to use Route Bravo, Route Tango or Route Alfa. |
